Research and Practice in Inclusive Education is the first scientific journal of Amazonas and the North Region, focused on the dissemination of knowledge in the area of Inclusive Education. Since the first edition, we have had the internal support of the Pro-Rectory of Technological Innovation (PROTEC), the Extension Pro-Rectory (PROEXTI), the Editora of the Federal University of Amazonas (EDUA), the Faculty of Education (FACED) and external support from the Graduate Program in Special Education of the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar).
The publication of the second edition of a magazine on school inclusion points to a challenge for the strengthening of the ideology of Inclusive Education. The concept of Inclusive Education defined in the current National Policy on Special Education in the Perspective of Inclusive Education (PNEEP-EI) bases this proposal as an emerging educational paradigm, a concept under construction and propagates the idea that education is the right of all.
To those interested in submitting texts to the journal, once again we reiterate that the Research and Practice in Inclusive Education Magazine receives not only works related to Special Education, but also texts that cover topics such as Literacy, Diversity, Youth and Adult Education, Educational Policy, Teacher Education, Field Education, Indigenous School Education, Education for Ethnic-Racial Relations, Human Rights and other correlates to education.
