Abstract

The objective of this paper is to demonstrate learning in practice in the Technological Vocational Center - Social Technologies for the Amazon floodplain of the Mamirauá Institute for Sustainable Development, IDSM, which brings together community coming from the rural context mainly from the middle Solimões, for a training course installed in Tefé, Amazonas. This study was based on a qualitative approach, participant observation and semi-structured interviews, with the purpose of understanding how the students' learning process takes place, which involves the improvement of techniques aimed at environmental conservation and the promotion of economic production from natural resources. Through this we present a dialogue with authors who weave an anthropological look, discussing the idea of learning related to local contexts. Then we will discuss the two regimes of knowledge, traditional and scientific, for a reflective conclusion that contributes to the denaturalization of looks naturalized over time.
