Abstract

The main objective of this article is to clarify what Hebrew humanism means for the Franco-Lithuanian philosopher Emanuel Lévinas and its potential contributions to the educational space. Through this work, we aim to understand the type of humanism Lévinas has in mind when drawing from a Hebrew tradition and how it can contribute to the educational space, which is marked by neoliberal influence and by the universalism of violence reflecting our society, fostered by the mitigation of the importance of human sciences.
