Políticas Curriculares do Ensino Básico em Moçambique
proposta do modelo curricular de aprendizagem solidária de inspiração progressista
Abstract
The First Republic was concerned with the cultural agenda of the Mozambican people through education, always respecting cultural exchange with other peoples, without losing sight of national identity. So, it was discussed and decided by consensus that everyone should be responsible and vigilant in the construction and implementation of a philosophy of life that was intended to be built in Mozambique and that education was seen as a priority for the materialization of this “dream". Therefore, with the advent of governance anchored in neoliberal ideologies, there was a crisis of values, habits, and local customs. However, to rescue the sociocultural values posed in crisis by globalization, this article proposes a curricular model based on social intelligence, as learning anchored in local knowledge, values, habits, and customs. Based on the theoretical foundations of John Dewey, Paulo Freire we proposed solidary learning inspirated in progressive learning as an alternative to the curricular model of Basic Education in Mozambique.
