UM OLHAR SOBRE A ORGANIZAÇÃO DA AGRICULTURA FAMILIAR EM TRANSIÇÃO

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the agroecosystems of the Cujubim Beira Rio Settlement Project, located in the municipality of Caracaraí – Roraima, using methodological tools for the description and participatory analysis of their agrarian reality, under an agroecological perspective. Therefore, the theoretical reflections are from authors who deal with economics, agroecology and other social sciences. The results show that two agroecosystems whose main destination is production to supply the city of Caracaraí and the neighboring community Vista Alegre, where direct sales are carried out. Thus, providing quality food to the local population, contributing to income generation and the expansion of food security and sovereignty in the study area. It is also important to highlight that the share of agricultural income is represented by production aimed at family self-consumption, which contributed to the increase in the degree of autonomy of agroecosystems in the face of capitalist relations.
