Efectos de los controles sobre el desempeño de las tareas y el comportamiento de ciudadanía organizacional mediado por la confianza

Resumen

Este estudio investiga la influencia de los controles organizacionales en el desempeño de tareas y el comportamiento de ciudadanía organizacional mediado por la percepción de confianza de los individuos en una institución bancaria federal. Para ello, a partir del estudio de Verburg et al. (2018) se realizó una investigación descriptiva con enfoque cuantitativo, a partir de una encuesta aplicada in loco, a 58 colaboradores. Para el procesamiento de los datos se utilizó la estadística descriptiva y la técnica de Modelado de Ecuaciones Estructurales. Entre los resultados obtenidos se encontró que el control organizacional en su dimensión de proceso influye en la confianza organizacional en el entorno de la institución bancaria. En cuanto al papel mediador de la confianza organizacional en la relación entre los controles organizacionales y el desempeño de las tareas y el comportamiento ciudadano, se encontró que no actúa como parte interviniente. En términos teóricos, los resultados de la investigación amplían la comprensión de la posición de control en el ámbito organizacional como antecedente o consecuente de la confianza, el desempeño de la tarea y el comportamiento de ciudadanía organizacional. En términos prácticos, contribuye al ambiente bancario brasileño, sobre todo considerando que es un espacio altamente competitivo y que el trabajo en equipo es fundamental para el desarrollo de las actividades, tanto las consideradas como Back Office como Front Office. Con estos hallazgos, la investigación indica que en los entornos organizacionales existe una necesidad de alineación entre el desempeño, el comportamiento de ciudadanía organizacional y la confianza, brecha que se fomenta en esta investigación.
