Territorialidade festiva - o espaço marujo tracuateuense

Abstract

In Tracuateua, the celebration for Two Saints takes place between the 18th and 21st of January. In this period, the party takes place on the city streets, in different spaces during its trajectory. This article aims to reflect, in the social sphere, in relation to the territory e as territorialidades festivas da celebração da Marujada. The theoretical and methodological framework consists of documents, articles and books related to the Tracuateuense Festival, studies related to territoriality, and also empirical data collected in the field. The religious and cultural festivity makes devotion to the Saints, Saint Sebastian and Saint Benedict, and is present in the municipal calendar since the time when Tracuateua was a village in the city of Bragança. The streets, the church and the Hall da Marujada (Shed) behave the party in your days of sacred and cultural exercises.
