Abstract

The objective of this study was to verify the Corporate Governance information disclosure on sustainable reports of the eight Textile, Clothes and Shoe sector companies listed on the Brazilian stock exchange (B3) in 2021. The degree of Corporate Governance disclosure of Arezzo & Co, C&A Modas, Grupo Soma, Guararapes, Le Lis Blanc, and Lojas Renner reports was calculated according to a documentary analysis conducted by an explanatory and descriptive research. The results show that 3 of these 6 companies with published sustainable reports in 2021 had a disclosure degree below 60%, particularly concerning the variables "Nomination Committee" and "Compensation Committee," which were not identified on any of the reports.  It is possible to observe, from the word cloud, that the most mentioned topics in the reports, were “suppliers," "products," and "stores”. Additionally, the research findings demonstrate that there is no standardization in the content regarding Corporate Governance on these reports, indicating that institutional isomorphism has not yet been applied to this market sector.
