Abstract

The philosophers Walter Benjamin and Alain Badiou, though separated by different
epochs and problematizations, have developed studies on a common theme, the
Philosophy of history. The present text will discuss how the two thinkers reflected on the
need for a new concept of history, seeking to establish the points of convergence between
the two lines of thought.
