This volume brings together interdisciplinary studies that examine biodiversity, environmental dynamics, and socio-environmental challenges in tropical and urban contexts, with particular emphasis on Brazil and the Amazon region. The articles explore the interface between biological diversity, ecosystem services, climate-related pressures, and public policies, highlighting how scientific knowledge contributes to environmental management, conservation strategies, and social well-being.
