BORQUIING BY THE ANEQUARA RIVER: A CARTOGRAPHY ON THE INFLUENCES OF FISHING IN THE LANGUAGE OF RIBERIINHOS IN THE MUNICIPALITY OF ABAETETUBA-PARÁ
Abstract
This work aims to map how fishing influences the language of riverside people and how this new way of relating to the ecosystem can be expressed through the language of the residents of the Anequara River. As specific objectives were defined: to map the points where linguistic occurrences appear; To present how the identity of riverine people can be affected by the environment in which they live. To this end, the theoretical framework is based mainly on Souza, Souza and Veras (2019), who talks about the riverside people, Stuart Hall (2006) and Bauman (2005), who discuss identity, in addition to Moser and Damke (2012) for talk about how identity influences language. As a methodology, a field research was developed, with a resident of the community, who is in daily contact with the practice of borqueio.
