About the Journal

MANDUARISAWA - Journal of the History Course at the Federal University of Amazonas (UFAM) was born from the concern of young academics who wanted to contribute and encourage the production of scientific knowledge in the Amazon with the objective of being a biannual and electronic journal, linked to the Postgraduate Program -Graduate in History from the Federal University of Amazonas (PPGH-UFAM).

In its editorial board, the journal counts on the participation of students from the Undergraduate Degree in Full Degree in History (UFAM) and from the Postgraduate Program in History (PPGH/UFAM). The Advisory Board is made up of researchers from across the country. Manduarisawa does not charge fees for the submission and publication of articles, being made available in Open Access to the entire community.

The thematic dossiers worked on in the Journal are chosen according to their relevance in the current scenario, with the intention of promoting a heterogeneity of new historiographical debates. For a Dossier, submissions of free articles, reviews, experience reports and interviews are accepted.

In this way, we want Revista Discente to be a channel for the dissemination of academic research and a means in which it allows the exchange of experiences and knowledge. We hope that the journal can also contribute significantly to the intellectual development of each author, reviewer and reader. And finally, may this be a space for debate, criticism and reflection on our research and writing practice in the field of History.
