Keywords:

The practices of militancy have, throughout the 20th century and up to the present time, undergone several modifications and distinct directions. It is pointed out that the objective of the militants, who were and are mostly young students, have been globalized around common causes and regionalized struggles, that is, young people militate for everyone and for themselves, for the world and for the city they live in. The research developed is qualitative in approach. The theoretical and methodological device proposed consisted of the development of a Research Intervention (RIs) in the city of Juazeiro do Norte-CE. The research included the participation of high school students in the development of thematic workshops that included conversation wheels based on the articulation of the trigger descriptors: militancy - school. Through the workshops, the analyzers that presented themselves as a field of institutional analysis were militancy/ coexistence-democracy. Therefore, a great transversality of collectivity is perceived from the individualities put under analysis and thus, the PI could evoke in the exercise of the workshops a space of production of knowledge of the institutional reality and provoke questions that raised throughout the research the place of militancy for each student in their uniqueness inside and outside the school context.
