existential dive into the possibility of being-oneself
Keywords:
Adolescence, child sexual abuse, psychological duty, phenomenological methodAbstract
Countless conflicts are experienced during adolescence, a stage of life so full of conflicts, exponential feelings and emotions, continuous searches to recognize oneself, to belong to a relational configuration. However, situations experienced in childhood and whose memory is an immersion in pain and suffering are brought to the surface and cause more restlessness and discomfort. The objective of this article is to understand the experience of sexual abuse suffered in childhood, filed by a very significant and close person, with a teenager who sought the Psychological Service to express her story. The work is qualitative, using parameters of the phenomenological-psychological method that is adapted to carry out the student's speeches. The perspective of discourse analysis is in existential-phenomenology. It can be seen how much pain became this teenager's companion even after telling her mother what had happened and justice having been triggered. It is concluded that activities such as the Psychological Duty in primary and secondary schools are important actions in terms of welcoming, listening and caring for adolescents.
