Abstract

Contemporary adolescence has been marked by restlessness and movement. Adolescent existentiality is a wide spectrum of experiences that are often fulfilled in situations where pain and suffering go hand in hand with joy and happiness. The objective of this study is to present the various dimensions present in the adolescent experience in several public schools in Manaus from the perspective of Phenomenological-Existential Psychology. The method used is qualitative and quantitative and is also anchored in the phenomenological method of research in psychology. Quantitative data about the schools and the demands most found in the students' speeches are presented. The qualitative bias brings excerpts from the adolescents' speeches and the analysis under the theoretical construct of Existential Phenomenology. It is concluded that the activity made it possible to know the most emerging demands of adolescents and re-dimensioned the look on the relationship on duty-adolescent entering into its multidimensionality.
