ABSTRACT:
In the literary production of the poet Raquel Naveira from Mato Grosso do Sul, it is possible to identify different marks of Portuguese culture, especially in poetic texts. The observed traits are residues of Portuguese times and spaces that marked the author's style, contributing to the cultural hybridization occupying much of her work. From the guiding parameters of the residuality theory (PONTES, 1999), this article intends to illustrate the verifiering characteristics of the mentioned cultural intercross. Thus, the discussions held by Peter Burke (2006) and Zilá Bernd (2004) about the subject are essential to the present study. It is understood, from the reading of the Naveira's texts, the proximity between the author and the Lusitanian tradition. This relationship unites individual and culture in such a way that it is possible to notice an endocultural process that built, and still builds, the identity of the poet.
