Abstract

his article discusses the development of general and regional hermeneutic approaches as exemplary methodological resources of social thought. It also deals with the particularly important contributions of P. Ricoeur and W. Mignolo in specific fields of knowledge in sociology and literature and examines the advantages of a hermeneutic interpretation in the comprehension and formulation of scientific studies.
