This paper aimed to highlight the contributions of the Integral School for the development of the teaching and learning process in the Year of Elementary School in a municipal public school in the city of Espinosa-MG. We used the qualitative perspective of exploratory character, whose procedures were, bibliographic research, based on authors such as: Cavaliere (2002), Guará (2006) and TEixeira (2007) and field research with empirical data. The questionnaire was the best instrument for collecting data with objective questions previously structured. Such actions are developed within real-world contexts of the student, facilitating interaction, contributing significantly to the improvement of the teaching-learning process.
