Abstract

PEDAGOGICAL PRACTICE AND THE PROCESS OF CONTINUOUS TRAINING IN THE SERVICE OF CHILDREN'S EDUCATION TEACHERS

ABSTRACT

 

This article presents as themes the formation of teachers and Early Childhood Education, and was guided by the problem about "the contribution of continuing education of teachers of Early Childhood Education, in service". As an objective, we chose to analyze the contributions of continuing education in service to the pedagogical practice of Early Childhood Education teachers, in a Cemei, in Montes Claros / MG. The qualitative approach was used, having as methodological procedure the literature review and field research that had a Cemei in the city of Montes Claros / MG as its locus. As an instrument for collecting information, we carried out observation of continuing education and semi-structured interviews with three teachers and the Cemei supervisor, who was the field of research. With the accomplishment of the research we managed to partially reach our objectives, because as said by the teachers and the supervisor, there is no continuing education in the research field school, however they consider this formation very important to improve their pedagogical practices in the classroom, showing thus the need for more in-depth research on the topic.
