Papel do director da escola na motivação dos professores para a realização de tarefas escolares.
Abstract
The school work for teachers suggests performing various school tasks. To that end, it is assumed that teachers can better fulfil their responsibilities if they are motivated, which is why, as employees, it is the responsibility of school principals, from management processes, to contribute to these teachers achieving desirable levels of motivation. It is the analysis of this contribution that is in question in this dissertation, starting from the reality of two industrial institutes and a commercial one, both of the city of Maputo, in a sample of 60 teachers, based on a theoretical conception centred on the participatory management model and, thus, it was possible to have elements that support the way that school principals influence teachers' motivation, the level of motivation of these teachers, and the strategies that principals use to motivate teachers.
