CONCEPÇÃO DE INFÂNCIA: UMA TRAJETÓRIA EDUCACIONAL ABNEGADA (MOÇAMBIQUE)
Abstract
In recent years, studies on childhood have sought to understand the ways of being a child through everyday life and specific contexts of the countries to which they belong, placing them as the protagonist of their trajectory and addressing the term childhood within the real context. This research presents an analysis of the conception of childhood constructed during the year 2019, pointing to the conception currently perceived, in order to seek to contemplate in this study the trajectory of childhood in Mozambique. Mozambican children, in turn, are put as “out of place” for not following the standards and norms of children in developed countries.
Through the dialogue with authors from childhood and education, some concerns emerged, bringing up the question of what it is to be a child in a Mozambican family. In this sense, highlighting the reality of child labor in the district of Airport B, Maputo city, and means having contact with the ways of life of different families that promote dialogical relationships. The aim here is to discuss about Mozambican childhood in the family and early childhood education.The qualitative field research took place in the neighborhood of Airport B city of Maputo, in Mozambique, during a period of 6 months. The narratives used bring experiences, activities and meaning environments of the children in this research, such as their family, neighborhood and school. The use of the interview technique is considered as an articulating instrument with children, in addition to the need for research to build the way childhood is approached in general, and without observing the specific contextualized space and environment.
