A imprensa operária no Amazonas nos anos iniciais do século XX: caminho de pesquisa

Abstract

The present text aims to discuss the relationship between the press and the social groups involved in its production, dissemination and consumption and, mainly, to reflect on its role in society. For this, its central objective is to deal with the relationship of workers with the press, the importance attributed by them to it and a possible path of research in this area that glimpses the social heterogeneity, the plurality of voices that were intertwined between itself in the social field and that crossed different themes that came to the public and there they were debated, evaluated, judged and accepted consensually. However, in the article in question, this process is discussed through the action of worker militants and their press in favor of the construction of the public sphere and political space.
