Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to find the knight’s code biographical profile from the 14th and 15th centuries, in the Iberian Kingdoms and France. To achieve this goal, reviews and analysis were conducted using works from historians and researchers who studied primary sources from that age related to the French knight Bertrand Du Guesclin, the Portuguese knight Nuno Alvares, and Pero Niño, Castile’s crown defender. Also, it tries to understand how the biography’s usage added to the building of an ideal role model of behaviors and virtues supporting the royal power’s strengthening in the French and Iberian national monarchies rises.
