Análise dos projetos de lei das vereadoras de Belém em 2021

Abstract

In order to assess how women are brought into the role of councilors elected in 2021
from Belém do Pará, this article sought to verify, from the perspective of feminism and
field theory, whether there is a crystallization of female councilors in policies
considered to be "female niches" and analyze their political actions in relation to
women. Data analysis of its Bills of Law and media discourses confirms the first
question and yields partial results on the second, implying that more complex
explanations are required for these questions.The data also allows us to observe which
themes the councilors focus on with regard to women.
