Abstract

PLANNING AND PUBLIC POLICY FOR THE TEACHER'S CAREER IN THE EARLY 21ST CENTURY IN BRAGANÇA-PA

 

ABSTRACT

The planning and public policy for the career of the teacher in the beginning of the 21st century in Bragança-PA, aimed to analyze their perception about planning in public policies for the teaching career nowadays, therefore, we started: what is the perception of teachers in relation to planning and public policy for the teaching career in the 21st century? Then the question arose: what are the public policies that teachers know and what is the degree of satisfaction about them in the teaching career? The methodological procedure started from the qualitative research approach, using as a data collection technique / instrument: questionnaires with semi-structured questions, applied to forty teachers (twenty) from the municipal network and twenty from the state network in the municipality of Bragança– PAN. Data analysis occurred through the interpretation of the subjects' speech, using content analysis. The study revealed that few teachers know their rights in the teaching career in the 21st century and most did not know how to indicate public policies and laws for that career. Still, it was found that some have knowledge of some specific laws, including: Positions Plan, Career and Remuneration for Teaching; National Salary Floor. The level of satisfaction for both teachers in the municipal and state schools was regular, 82% and 75%, respectively, considering that planning and public policies for the teaching career in the 21st century do not address the needs of teachers. careers of the teacher completely.
