DIALÓGOS ENTRE HISTÓRIA E EDUCAÇÃO: UM OLHAR SOBRE O CASO DA ZONA FRANCA DE MANAUS
Abstract
The Manaus Free Trade Zone (ZFM) was responsible for the accelerated population growth in the Manaus region, through the arrival of migrants, in search of jobs in works, commerce and local industries, causing profound changes in the landscapes and in the educational scenario of the capital. of the State of Amazonas. This work aims to carry out a historical journey about the idealization, construction and implementation of the ZFM. Based on the desire to better understand its structure, emergence and impacts on the educational, economic and social sectors in the historical period in which it was inserted, official documents, newspapers and scientific articles related to the theme were analyzed. The work also sought to understand, through a qualitative approach and a study of bibliographic and documental analysis, the transformations resulting from the construction process of the Manaus Free Trade Zone and its relationship with the (re)configuration of the way of life and organization of the population of Manaus and nearby cities.
