EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS E O CENÁRIO DA PANDEMIA DE COVID-19: ESTADO DA ARTE DAS PESQUISAS BRASILEIRAS
Abstract
This article deals with Youth and Adult Education - EJA in the scenario of the Covid-19 pandemic. We propose to survey the articles published in scientific journals during the period from 2020 to 2022, and we used the keywords “EJA and Covid-19” in the CAPES Portal, Scielo and Google Scholar platforms for the search. The research had a qualitative approach, with the State of the Art as a methodological path. For the discussion, we opted for content analysis. Twenty-nine (29) articles were identified and the results pointed to three problematic fields: a) the field of impacts, government measures and projections of EJA; b) EJA teaching: training, perceptions and experiences; c) the views and student narratives of EJA. Finally, the article concludes with a characterization of the EJA scenario in the Covid-19 pandemic. Among the writings and readings produced in the articles, we (re)visited feelings and were moved by the experiences constituted by EJA teachers and students throughout this period, raising questions that were very present in the articles, such as the need to rethink the curriculum of EJA, still very focused only on certification, as well as the urgency of considering the ecological crisis experienced on the planet in the training of EJA students, so that they are also transforming agents in their lived spaces, so that this pandemic is not the omen of others that may come.
