EDUCAÇÃO DE JOVENS E ADULTOS EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA E ISOLAMENTO SOCIAL
Abstract
Considering the educational context during social isolation, imposed by COVID19, this text aims to analyze the difficulties of Youth and Adult Education subjects in carrying out school activities during the period of social isolation due to the Coronavirus pandemic. In order to explore the phenomenon of emergency remote teaching for EJA in a municipality in Bahia, it resorts to the case study strategy, using, as a data collection technique, narrative interviews with students and teachers of Youth and Adult Education, through the WhatsApp app , in 2020. Starting from a reflection on the subjects' speeches and the theoretical basis in some authors and documents, it was noticed that there is a methodological fragility of the school in providing means of remote activity, since the EJA public has its singularities as a modality of education and the methodologies used need to account for the specificities.
