INTERACCIÓN A TRAVÉS DE LA PANTALLA. LA SOCIALIZACIÓN DE NIÑOS Y NIÑAS DESDE SUS CASAS
Abstract
As a result of the global health situation owed to SARS-CoV-2 COVID-19 virus, daily activities had to adjust to online. Among these activities was the School Guide and Early Education Support Program of the Personalized Early Education Interdisciplinary Center. This paper aims to share the coordinators experience mediating screen socialization in children under 8 years old. In this program participated 17 boys and 9 girls in two different groups, one with school background (5 to 8 years old) and another who haven't had any contact with formal education (2-4 years old). DENVER II test, Workfield notes y planning programs were key through 19 sessions with families and children. The results where structured in three categories: considerations of the physical space and the materials for socialization in children from 2 to 8 years and families, challenges for maintain the attention and interaction through the screen, and the family as facilitator of the socialization through a screen.
