THE STUDY OF BOTANICAL BLINDNESS IN HIGH SCHOOL BOOKS IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS IN HUMAITÁ-AM (BRAZIL)
ABSTRACT
Textbooks have great participation and relevance in the teaching-learning process, specifically in the pedagogical practice of several teachers in school environments. However, it is important to consider that knowledge is presented in a reduced way. To analyze the content about bryophytes and pteridophytes in the Biology textbook. Three textbooks were used for data collection, named L1, L2 and L3, from the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades of high school in public schools in Humaitá-AM. Through a summary sheet following our objectives we could notice that L1 does not have content on Bryophytes and Pteridophytes, L2 in turn was found in his analysis on the subject, however superficial, L3 as the L2 has nothing on the subject. In this way, it is worth reflecting on whether high school students are receiving it correctly.
