Abstract

ABSTRACT: This text is the partial result of an ongoing research in the scope of the Master's course (PPGECH, UFAM), which aims to analyze scientific contributions from textbooks used in public schools in Manaus. To meet the objectives of this work, we resorted to bibliographical research, in addition to working with the application of a questionnaire and semi-structured interviews with teachers in public elementary schools. paradidactic literature for children and youth, to awaken the scientific eye in students. Making scientific knowledge attractive to young people is a necessary challenge to be taken on by schools, and it may be the solution to awaken the interest of this public in science.
