Our paper aims to discuss the concept of territory for psychoanalysis and for the paradigm of psychosocial care, based on a bibliographical review, focussing on the psychotic subject in Lacanian orientation and with Brazilian public mental health as the guiding view. Through the logical connective “disjunctive and” as a non-homogenizing conjunction, we intend to think of a clinic through the gap, in the intermittence between psychoanalysis and psychosocial care, which mobilizes elements arising from the psychoanalytic technique in tension with the citizen logic of a psychosocial horizon. We seek to consider the concept of territory, centering on the notion of “place”, as well as the dialogue between this conceptualization and a clinical fragment. We understand that subject is constituted in relation with otherness, which includes symbolic marks of encounters and disagreements with the Other, and circuits - traveled, created and apprehended . This marks and circuits are metabolized psychically, allowing inscriptions of singular in the language’s universal and in the logos of laws and citizenship.
