It is estimated that over 700,000 people die by suicide every year. In 2019, 14,540 died by suicide in Brazil. Rates of suicidal behavior in transgender people are high compared to the general population. People experiencing transmasculinities are underrepresented in research. Objective: To analyze the factors that are associated with suicidal behavior of people of transmasculine identities in national and international studies. Methodology: This is an integrative review of scientific productions that used the following databases: PubMed, CAPES Periodicals Platform and Virtual Health Library. Results: 16 articles were included, 3 national and 13 international ones. Conclusions: Further research is needed on risk and protection factors for people who self-identify in transmasculine identities, because it is a complex and multi-factorial phenomenon and because of the scarcity of studies with this population.
