Abstract

Exercising the practice of monitoring provides great benefits in academic training, opportunity to gain experience in the construction of knowledge being related to teaching practice, among others, the present work is characterized by reports of experience about academic monitoring in the discipline of botany II in the course of dual degree in Science: Biology and Chemistry, at the Federal University of Amazonas (IEAA / UFAM) Vale do Rio Madeira campus in the municipality of Humaitá-AM, taught in the second semester of 2020/2 through Emergency Remote Education, aimed at to report the importance of monitoring in the discipline of botany II, with emphasis on the importance of monitoring in the construction of academic identity during the teaching training, the methodology used was qualitatively through observation during the activity of a monitor, reporting the importance of the activities in the classroom and the difficulties encountered by students through remote teaching, report the contribution of academic monitoring in the contribution of knowledge, the activities carried out were the preparation of biological collections, production of literature review articles, and presentation of the botanical tour, these activities are teaching methods that led students to put into practice what it was a study in the classroom, and with that test your knowledge in the act of activities, through this it was possible to associate theory and practice through the making of biological collections, production of scientific articles and the botanical tour these activities are fundamental for the construction of knowledge in the teaching of botany.
