FOGO NOS RACISTAS: RELATO DE UMA INTERVENÇÃO PSICOSSOCIAL EM PSICOLOGIA NO CONTEXTO ESCOLAR
Abstract
FIRE IN RACISTS: REPORT OF A PSYCHOSOCIAL INTERVENTION IN PSYCHOLOGY IN THE SCHOOL CONTEXT.
Abstract: This text aims to report and problematize an experience of psychosocial intervention proposed by Psychology’s students and carried out in a high school. The intervention theme was about racism, affirmation of black identity, social networks and the use of informations technologies (ICTs). Psychology students built a proposal after theoretical discussions on racial issues and, soon after, meetings with high school students were suggested. There was the moment of preparation / warming up of the group, the activity of collective construction and systematization of work and the evaluation of the meeting held. We affirm that the psychosocial intervention made it possible to produce understandings about racist practices as well as providing opportunities for confrontations of decolonial thinking. In addition, high school students were able to ponder the importance of communication and information technologies as a space to contribute to a teaching and learning process free from discriminatory perpetuations.
