COMPARATIVE DISCURSIVE ANALYSIS ABOUT FEMALE IMAGES IN FORRÓ LETTERS
Abstract
This article discussions and reflections on the representation of women in forró lyrics, based on studies on discourse analysis. The research started from the survey of songs that portray women, we analyzed three songs by singers and different times that print divergent images about women in their lyrics. The work intends to awaken reflections as we present a study that is designed as a warning about the moral violence suffered by women in the cultural context of forró music that reverberates in other social spheres. Raising the alert about the need to reflect on these images created by the music entertainment industry to reinforce ideas and behaviors. For this, qualitative bibliographic research was carried out considering the contributions of authors such as: Bakhtin (2003), Fairclough (2001), Orlandi (2007), Prior and Bassanezi (1997), Perrot (2017), Silva (2020), among others.
