Abstract

Mozambique's geostrategic location, combined with agro-ecological conditions and mineral resources, places in the position of a privileged dreamer, with regard to development, at a considerable and competitive pace, conditioned by competent human capital committed to this trend. This article aims to reflect on the confluence of the concepts of education, human capital and economic growth from a development perspective in Mozambique. As for the nature of the research, it is applied and exploratory with regard to the objective, and the methodological approach is qualitative, who used a collection technique was bibliographical consultation. This article represents a literature review, through reflections on the subordination between the concepts of education, human capital and economic growth. In this sense, the reflections conclude that economic growth does not occur by itself, but through the subordination of the concepts of education and human capital, supported by quality teaching throughout training. Furthermore, education through the quality of teaching is an essential determinant in the formation of excellent human capital, based on the knowledge held by the population in various aspects. Therefore, these elements are social drivers in production and management, whose ultimate aim is focused on increasing in come and consequent economic growth.
