O DEVIR À DENÚNCIA DE MULHERES VÍTIMAS DE VIOLÊNCIA SEXUAL À LUZ DA FENOMENOLOGIA DE MERLEAU-PONTY

Abstract

Contemporary life has been characterized by the trivialization of the media, by an exacerbation of violence against women. Among this, sexual violence by your partner or spouse has grown alarmingly in recent years. Faced with a situation of this nature, the woman who suffers this type of violence turns to the judiciary in order to maintain her physical and psychological integrity. In view of these notes, the objective of this study was to understand the meaning of becoming a victim of denunciation of women victims of sexual violence in the city of Manaus, in light of the Merleau-Ponty Phenomenology. The method used was the phenomenological research in Psychology. Seven (07) women victims of sexual violence, from the city of Manaus, were welcomed in a support institution for women who suffered violence and who filed a complaint at a police station or appropriate institutional body. Recorded audio interviews were carried out which, after transcription, made it possible to elaborate Thematic Categories, among them: a) Temporality: memories of the fact and other traces; b) Denunciation in its future; It is concluded that the experience of sexual violence by these women went beyond violence in itself, since their lives were transformed and, despite fear and insecurity, they decided to denounce it, allowing reflection about the pluridimensionality of the lived.
