O MUNDO DAS ESCOLAS DE SAMBA DE MANAUS (AM)
Abstract
The present work seeks the relations between the samba schools in the city of Manaus (AM) during the production of the parades, during the parades and after the carnival parades. In it we seek to highlight the particularities of samba schools in the city and monitor the sociability networks produced by their components. For that, we took the competition where samba schools are organized with their gradations and consequent spatial dimensions of the city. We start from the parade site, the sambodromo and its attached spaces for preparing costumes and allegories. We circulate in samba circles in search of their connection with the networks of samba schools. Finally, we conclude with the transposition of these networks to virtual communities of admirers and fans.
