O MÉTODO DE PESQUISA EM PSICOLOGIA FENOMENOLÓGICA: APORTES TEÓRICOS INICIAIS

Abstract

Phenomenology as an area of ​​philosophy had, from the last century, its assumptions imbricated with Psychology, resulting in what we know as Phenomenological Psychology. Thereafter, the view of Phenomenology becomes part of the clinical and research context in Psychology. The objective of this article is to bring the parameters used by the phenomenological-psychological research method in Psychology, idealized by the American researcher Amedeo Giorgi. The fundamentals of the phenomenological method, consisting of three steps and the phenomenological-psychological method established in four steps, are presented. It is perceived the pluridimensionality of factors considered relevant for the use of the method in psychological research. It is understood that from the methodological assumptions, it is possible to reach the heart of the research question: intersubjectivity considered as a fundamental element for the achievement of qualitative research in Psychology.
