- STUDY OF IMPLEMENTATION OF A TEACHER TRAINING METHODOLOGY: THE TUTORIAL PROGRAM IN MANAUS
- Abstract: It presents results of a study of the implementation of a continuing teacher training program, developed in the municipal education network of Manaus, especially those referring to the role that educational tutors took in the accompaniment of teachers in probationary stage. To understand how these professionals exercised their duties, observations were made of their work routine and interviews with them, tutored teachers and school managers. The program has sought to apply the methodology established by the program, with local adaptations already foreseen by the idealizers of this methodology. The analyzes showed that there was extent technology transfer from the executing agency to the network and that tutors are generally well received by schools.
