Abstract

ABSTRACT: This text focuses on the work process in the context of diabetes mellitus, with a view to identifying possibilities for strengthening and qualification, especially in the Amazon region. It is a narrative review article that aims to describe and discuss the challenges of the work process in the context of diabetes mellitus as well as the possibilities that emerge to overcome difficulties. In this sense, it looks at the challenges faced by professionals in the field of assistance to people living with diabetes mellitus, highlights successful educational interventions in this context, highlights the potential of permanent education, with a focus on remote modality (on line). We conclude that permanent online education, especially in the Amazon region, is a strong strategy that can impact the quality of the work process in the context of diabetes mellitus.
