Abstract

CURRICULAR ENVIRONMENTALIZATION IN A MUNICIPAL COLLEGE IN THE SOUTHWEST OF PARANÁ

Abstract: Higher education institutions are a space to discuss problems and build possible solutions for society. In the face of the environmental and civilization crisis that we are experiencing, we seek to present in this article a reflection on the possibility and necessity of Environmental Education (EA) in the teaching of professionals in Pedagogy and Administration by higher education. Through a bibliographical and qualitative research, we observe how the EA is presented from the idea of ​​Curricular Environmentalization (AC) in the pedagogical spaces of the College of Education and Environment (FAMA) of Clevelândia, Paraná - Brazil. It is hoped that the higher education will equip the future professionals to work in the most different activities to face the environmental crisis with ecological awareness and care. The conclusions point to an unsystematic presence of the AC, which would need to be more elaborated and deepened in order to guarantee the construction of a new perception of the sustainable presence of human beings in the world of students of FAMA.
