Abstract

This article analyzes neurodevelopment and brain plasticity, emphasizing early intervention in children with Rett Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), highlighting implications for Special Education. The objective is to investigate how early intervention strategies can favor cognitive, social, and educational development, especially in the context of Specialized Educational Services (SES). This is a qualitative research study, with a literature review of recent scientific productions in neuroscience, education, and inclusive public policies. The results indicate that early interventions can enhance the functional reorganization of the brain and expand learning possibilities, provided they are supported by pedagogical practices adapted to individual needs. The analysis reveals challenges related to early diagnosis, teacher training, and curriculum adaptation. It concludes that the integration of neuroscience knowledge and inclusive pedagogical practices represents a promising strategy to promote the integral development of children with Rett Syndrome and ASD, contributing to evidence-based, equitable education committed to diversity.
