SÍNDROME DE BURNOUT:COMPLICAÇÕES PARA OS PROFISSIONAIS DA ÁREA DE ENFERMAGEM. UMA REVISÃO DE LITERATURA
Abstract
Burnout is an English word, which is defined as exposure to emotional and interpersonal chronic stressor, linked to labor activity. It is a problem that affects service providers, especially those dealing with care activities with others, in which the provision of care or service often occurs in situations of emotional changes.Taking into consideration that nurses are a group with great predisposition to the development of the syndrome because they are health professionals that more time spend in contact with the patient and their family members within the working environment of constant emotional changes situations. This study is a literature review, with the aim to gather information on the key risk factors that favor the appearance of Burnout syndrome and its consequences for the individual, organization and society.
