ESTUDO SOBRE A VARIAÇÃO DA FAUNA AQUÁTICA AO LONGO DO CANAL FLUVIAL NHACONJO NA CIDADE DA BEIRA (MOÇAMBIQUE).

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the variation of aquatic fauna along the Nhaconjo channel in the city of Beira, taking into account local and temporal factors. It was based on the consultation of secondary sources, field data obtained from a work of collecting and analyzing water samples and evidence of aquatic organisms found at different points selected for observation. From the work carried out in the study area, it was understood that the distribution of aquatic fauna in the Nhaconjo river channel varies according to the physical and chemical characteristics of the waters along this channel as well as the flow of the water throughout the year.
