A DOCÊNCIA NA EJA NO CONTEXTO DO DESMONTE DA FUNÇÃO SOCIAL DO ESTADO: PRÁTICAS EDUCATIVAS SOB A PERSPECTIVA FREIREANA
Abstract
This article presents and analyses an experience carried out through an extension course carried out by professors at the Federal Institute of Goiás, aimed at teachers working in the Youth and Adult Education modality. It is, therefore, an experience report, of a Project that aimed to promote the continuing education of educators who work in the modality, but due to the absence of government policies, especially in a context of regression of social functions of the Brazilian State, were not properly prepared to deal with the specificities that constitute the subjects of the education of the working class, historically excluded from the right to schooling. The Project was carried out in the first semester of 2022, through ten (10) synchronous meetings via Google Meet, supported by the use of the asynchronous tool Moodle. Forty (40) participants were selected, of which twenty-six (26) satisfactorily completed the course. Paulo Freire's work, considered fundamental for thinking about popular education, was used as a fundamental reference, in the lines and between the lines, for the course and for the analysis undertaken in this text.
