EJA INTEGRADA À EDUCAÇÃO PROFISSIONAL (PROEJA) E A PANDEMIA DA COVID-19: VIVÊNCIAS E EXPERIÊNCIAS DOS/AS ESTUDANTES
Abstract
This text discusses the experiences of Youth and Adult Education (EJA) students in Emergency Remote Teaching (ERE) during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study was carried out through qualitative research, with an explanatory basis, and had as a data collection instrument the application of an online questionnaire with closed and open questions to 31 students of the Integrated Technical Course in Kitchen in the EJA modality of the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG). From the data, it is possible to perceive, among others, that most of the students are concentrated in the age group from 51 to 60 years old; they are students who, for the most part, contribute to the maintenance of the family group and, in many cases, are the main providers. In addition, during the pandemic, they experienced job loss, insertion into the informal labor market, reduced working hours with reduced wages, or the reduction of activities carried out in the informal labor market. Regarding Emergency Remote Teaching, the students highlighted the limits, difficulties and possibilities of learning at that time.
