Abstract

Moral harassment is understood as a set of hostile and unethical behaviors directed at an individual or group of them, which result in morbid psychological states. The Quality of Life has as main objectives the satisfaction and well-being of the employee, aiming to establish the balance between the expectations of the employee and the organization, through the determinations and needs of both parties. This study aims to relate Moral Harassment and Quality of Life in the Work and verify their incidence in teachers of a public network institution of Technical and Technological Education. Twenty-six teachers participated in this study. As instruments for data collection, a questionnaire was applied online and the scales: Labor of Moral Harassment and Evaluation of Quality of Life at Work. Statistically significant correlations were found between the factors of Moral Harassment and Work Quality of Life scales. Regarding the incidence of moral harassment, it is important to emphasize that psychological violence, besides being subjective, is immaterial and its consequences are strictly personal, impacting on the physical, psychic and behavioral aspects of the individual, also reflecting on their work activities and interfering in their Quality of Life at Work.
