Abstract

In general, inclusive education has been the subject of much debate over the years. Physical education is, in a special way, an essential part and an immediate focus referred to. In this sense, the objective of this article is to carry out a reanalysis of some of the important studies carried out in the years that bring important considerations on how physical education professionals see the process. After a detailed analysis, we realized that these specialists are aware of the importance of Physical Education for students with disabilities. At the same time, however, they do not feel prepared for this, claiming that there is a great distance between theoretical discourse and practical reality. As suggestions, they need the need to include more specific topics for inclusion in academic training, as well as support for specialized professionals who will assist in their practical activities.
